Description:	Music for Good Friday: Charles Wood: St Mark Passion Gerald Finzi: Welcome sweet and sacred feast Coventry Cathedral Chorus Luke Fitzgerald: Conductor Joseph Bannerjee: Tenor Luke Fitzgerald says: Coventry Cathedral Chorus present Charles Wood's St Mark Passion directed by Luke Fitzgerald with tenor Evangelist Joseph Banerjee. This little-known musical gem has the chorus singing much of the Passion narrative alongside the Evangelist and solo characters. It has been championed by Daniel Hyde with a recording on Naxos in 2008 and excerpts were featured in 'Easter at Kings' 2020 on the BBC. The performance will conclude with Finzi's beautiful 'Welcome, sweet and sacred feast."
